Drama Day!

Alicia called from Skye early this morning feeling quite unwell.

The weather there had been wet and misty. Not the sort of weather that a Brazilian living in Puerto Rico could handle.

More urgently she had tested Positive for Covid.  Arrangements were quickly made to have her back home with us.

We are able to provide care and facilities which were not available where she was in Skye. 

She arrived back in the late afternoon and is safely installed in the green bedroom suite. 

She is asymptomatic, but we take no risks with Covid. I think that being back with family is a big boost for her.

Today’s Blipfoto is taken as something of an emergency and shows the setting sun illuminating the ceiling.

Test kits and FFP3 face masks are on order. We already have some. We also have plenty of sanitizer.

We hope that the positive test is a false positive.  However, I have my doubts about that.
