Anzac Day

Today is Anzac Day, so a public holiday, to remember the servicemen and women who have died in the Australian armed forces.
I find it quite a strange day in Australia, it seems to be defined by very somber moments, but also a lot of drinking and playing 2 up in pubs!

We went over to Manly for the day. The ferry ride across the harbour is still one of my favourite things to do in Australia, even though I have made the journey countless times. And, I will always love the silhouette of Sydney harbours icons as the sun goes down.
