Cracked windscreen

Today we went to Meir B&Q so that I could use their wood cutting service for a piece of furniture I’m building. But it wasn’t available today and do we had to stuff the very long planks into our Fiat 500. Shutting the boot resulted in this crack in the windscreen. It’s going to cost £199 to fix it. This DIY nonsense is very expensive.
