Resting bee

Went out for an evening stroll and walked up to the car park at the royal William yard along an unmoved verge. As I was walking up I noticed that a number of the teasels had bees resting/sleeping on them. There were one or two bees still foraging so hopefully this one is just sleeping!

I was in my back yard the other day and I heard a bee buzzing wildly and when I found it it had been trapped in a web and the spider was watching it! I couldn’t rescue it and I had to leave as I couldn’t bear to listen to it struggle! When I came back later it appeared to have been decapitated and wrapped up in a parcel. I haven’t looked since!
