Stafelsee Strandbad

Into Murnau this afternoon to see S’s mum after a couple of weeks’ Covid enforced absence so a chance to clear some of the list backlog. The hardest job was trying to get control of her tomato jungle; two vines gone wild, lots of foliage, few fruit. Did my best but don’t hold out much hope for a decent crop. Afterwards we met up with Zack at the local ‘beach bar’ for a quick drink, then it was back home and straight over to Renate’s to hang out on her patio for a few hours.
Can’t hear myself think now over the noise of rain hammering down and thunder rolling all around us. Another weather extreme but at least the temperature has dropped ten degrees.
