Life's a beach

The day started dull but grew steadily sunnier, and by lunchtime it had turned into a beautiful day, if a trifle breezy. We were expecting family up to stay for a couple of days and when they arrived we went along to Poppies for lunch. I'm sure they make more money in the restaurant than they do in the garden centre!

After lunch we continued northwards and walked down to the beach at Tralee, or Traigh Li as it is in the Gaelic. The sun was shining brightly on the sea and a few folk were out walking the dogs, so we had a good wander and came back to sip G&Ts on the deck.
