Against the clock

All being well, we should pick up the keys to our new home in a week's time - just three days before little Miss B's 3rd birthday. This knitting - plus some sewing - I'm hoping to have finished in time to give her as part of her birthday present. It's quite complicated and fiddly, and I've learnt two new knitting techniques in the process (which is fun), but I need to speed up a bit. Can you guess what it is? Clue: it's a character from a popular children's TV series.

It's seventeen years ago today that my father died. He would have loved this toy - not to mention his great-grandchildren. Still miss him a lot.
