Just Desserts

M and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary today.  We decided to have a relaxing day together and to treat ourselves to lunch at the Blakeney Hotel.  Our favourite window seat was free, it overlooks the quay and it's a great spot for watching the world go by.

After enjoying a Norfolk Dapple cheese soufflé we indulged in these delicious desserts.  Mine was a honey parfait with lavender sponge, lemon gel and blackberries.  M's was a chocolate torte with blood orange sorbet and Grand Marnier soaked orange slices.

We then headed upstairs to 'The Lookout' to relax in comfy armchairs with views over the marshes while we savoured our coffee.
