Mr Fixit
Husband dearest has been creating things from the remains of James' old cabin bed and parts of a golf trolley that was salvaged from a skip some time ago.
He is forever turning old things into new things. The frame from the aforementioned golf trolley was converted into a frame to use as a bike rack for his storage box on the back of his motorbike.
He converted James huge metal framed cabin bed into a standard bed a few weeks back with the power of a hacksaw and file. The remaining parts - some tubular legs, a couple of metal ladders and some metal nesh have been sat in the garage. Today some of those parts were turned into a useful sack truck, seen here, with the creator!. This means he can carry stuff around a bit more easily. Especially when I ask stupid questions about paving sections of the garden...those flag stones weigh a lot.
Other than that, and a bit of silliness during the day, Corin has been productive and I have once again been sat on the sofa of invincibility. In many respects, I felt there was an improvement today and the standard evening deterioration has occurred a little bit later than in the past few days. Although, as I was sat telling Corin that it was only uncomfortable and that I didn't want to take painkillers, I discovered that it was in fact painful and that the inevitable chewing of drugs will indeed occur again this evening. Truth be told, I just want to be able to go to bed, find a comfortable position and drop straight off to sleep, rather than thrutching around for 2 hours before I just collapse through exhausted frustration.
Other than that, everything is great!
