Day 116

TGIF - hellishly busy week is finally over.

Usual Friday evening routine of after school cake and coffee before taking the boy to football training. Thankfully it was inside, may have been sunny, but darn that wind is still bitter.

Coach Steve decided to hold a mini 'FA Cup' competition with the 4 teams. Roo was of course a captain of Carlisle (no other reason than his team had green bibs) and went on to lead his team his team to victory scoring 5 stupendous goals for a 5 year old and saving countless others when in goal. The winning side all got medals which Roo was relaxed about 'I already have many I don't really need more'

I know all parents are rightly proud of their kids but the little dude has real talent - time to nurture it so he can soon earn his keep playing pro ;)
