The end of a perfect day

For the first time since 2019, we were able to cross the bridge from Lubec to Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. The pandemic regulations kept us from crossing the border last summer and in October.

Today made up for the missed visits. It’s too late to list all the wonderful experiences, sounds, sights, the best lobster roll ‘eva’ and a chance meeting with a couple who actually know friends of ours. We had a nail biting 50 minute drive home in pea soup fog, but are safe and sound now. Plus it was cool enough for jackets on the island.
