Too wet for fishing……

…….even for fairies. The Fairy’s Fishing Rod plant (aka Dierama) has so many flowers on the end of the “rods” and looks lovely overhanging the pond. Sadly, the flowers don’t last long at all and very quickly turn brown and dilapidated.

Wow, did we have some rain today! My glass of water looked as if it had something much stronger in it but (sadly, some might say) it was only fresh, peaty spring water.
