Those who know me will be surprised to hear that my inexplicable inability to recognise people in hats (?) also extends to people in face masks.

I was really convinced though that the passenger behind me on the plane today was my colleague - and it was! So glad I plucked up the courage to turn round and say oi :-)

Even more of a coincidence was that she wasn't meant to be on that flight - or to that destination even - as their flight on Friday had been cancelled

Such a nice coincidence and a lovely start to my holiday.
