Fun in Bailbrook and Alice Park
We went to Alice Park this morning. Grace took the girls on the bike, we took the car. Chris just had to give the bike a try when we hit back, think he was terrified!
The girls enjoyed the park starting in the sand pit, not my favourite, followed by the swings and then we had coffee in the cafe with a milk ice pop for Jude and a far too big vanilla milk shake for Eda! She dropped the first one and they kindly replaced it but she couldn’t finish it!
A final go on the slide and a visit to the balloon man, Eda chose a princess wand and Jude a circus one but she wouldn’t take it from the man, before heading home. She did play with the balloon when she got home but was more pleased with the free bubbles she’d been given with it.
We headed home after lunch when Jude went for a nap.
Couldn’t resist the garden picture top left. I’ve shown the house before with it’s wall inscription, ‘Thomas Beale, licensed dealer in tea’, they also used to sell beer. I thought the garden was looking lovely as we passed it when turning into Grace’s lane.
