Daisy daisy

It’s been a difficult week with daughter and partner very poorly with Covid which was made so much harder during the heatwave.  Today is the first day that they have tested negative which is just as well as we are all going away to the coast for a few days tomorrow and partner has hired a large van/car to seat 9 of us.  The other family also have a problem as little granddaughter decided to jump from the top bunk bed on Friday and now can’t put any weight on her foot so has had an x-ray, has crutches and will know tomorrow whether she will need to have a plaster made.  They are travelling independently so plan to meet the rest of us at the holiday home - that’s if they make it.  At one time we thought it would just be us two oldies going by ourselves.

On a more positive note the daisies continue to flower and flourish and have spread around the garden.  They seem to cope with the heat and no rain so are a valuable addition.
