Hoy Dry Dock

During today’s visit to my mother she reported that she had been with many other coevals in a large hall (potentially Birsay).  They had been in a large circle performing flowing ballet movements.  The last time she remembered dancing was VE Night.  Back at the care home she played bingo.  She won a line and received a tin of custard!  I hope it’s not a life changer.  She also indicated she’s never been in a hammock.

In the afternoon both CMC and myself became entangled in trying to find a new insurer for our Hoy haven.  It would have been easier arranging a trip to Pluto via Glen Farg.  It was then thinning leeks, picking cauliflowers, lifting tatties, transplanting perennials.

There’s been a staff walk out in Dept 5.
