Pink leaves

These are my favourite trees in our local park. I think they are acers, there's a group of five, and they develop into beautiful pink umbrellas in the Spring. I've been keeping an eye on them, as I thought it would be interesting to follow their progress as the leaves unfurl. At the beginning of the week, the buds were still quite tight, but they are starting to open up really quickly.
