The Feast Day of Saint Christina.
The morning is bright and breezy and I have been up to the Best One shop for our Mail on Sunday. I don't necessarily agree with the politics of the paper but we enjoy the puzzles and You magazine.
I hope you like this photo taken at the railway station, with the non stop York train flying by. We are a well connected station and the Prospects green group planted the cosmos. They survived the hot spell and provide beauty and colour.
It is 18c outside and 20.5c indoors. The heat is due to return in some areas this week, and there is talk of another heatwave in August. Heaven help us all.
