Teasel

It rained most of the day . Good for the garden and water levels.
I had a busy day, sorting clothes for the charity shop , then visiting mum . I went through her wardrobe and drawers , organised them , and removed all the clothes that did not belong to her .
It was satisfying and Mum was happy with the results .We listened to Neil Diamond’s greatest hits , and Mum sung along to her favourites.
In the evening I popped over to the allotment and I took this photo of one of the teasels that are growing in the wild flower bed. My friend Janet had given me them . As well as being lovely to look at , and draw , they are a great food source for birds like goldfinches. I picked a few more green beans for supper .
I had the same home grown veg meal again.

Laurence had been out all day with Paul and his family celebrating his 60th birthday.
