Hendstock Festival

It was a real treat to be able to walk a short  distance from my home witch some friends to attend a music festival. It was held in  the beautiful garden of David and Hayley ( both are Blippers!) it’s an event they have put on annually for a numbers years in memory of one of their friends who died of meningitis. These events have raised some £17,000 for a meningitis charity. Tonight’s attendance of several hundred people should raise a goodly sum too. The audience brought something to sit on and a picnic etc and were entertained all evening with a fabulous musical soirée  from some very talented local  musicians and singers of all ages. The main event being the local rock group  - the host D. being one of the guitarists. A great event and the weather perfect for sitting outside!
