River Festival

This weekend is the Bedford River Festival including Dragon Boat races, vintage cars and what-have-you. It covers both days of the weekend and then doesn't return until 2024. I dosed up with aspirin and when I felt more living than dead, ventured out to see what there was to see. It's massive! Crowds had taken over all the roads, footpaths and cycle routes throughout the town centre as well as all along the river. There were far too many people selling crappy hats but all the established fast food outlets will have raked it in. The bus station was heaving as I headed back home for more drugs.
