Nature Diary..Beautiful colours in the countryside

Recently the fields were mostly green including high up on the hill, but a few days of exceptionally high temperatures has changed the scenery quite dramatically.
Here’s hoping the farmers’ work hasn’t all been entirely wasted as they were working day and night recently tending to their land, while on other fields sheep and cows were grazing peacefully on what was then lush grass.
