Back to Euston in the morning. Get on an early train- very crowded but we managed to get seats (thank you mobility assistance).

Get to Lancaster, get cab to nice little village a few miles from the university. We had visited it a few years before when on a canal trip. Book into pub

I have a walk looking for the nice pubs and chi chi shops. but nothing- just a couple of pubs and a convenience store.

Discover we were in Galgate not Garstang. So read my book until it was time for dinner
