A Serious Fireplace!

This is the Great Fireplace of Wycollar Hall.
Wycollar is a small village on the outskirts of Colne, Lancashire.
The Hall dates from the late 16th century and is thought to be the inspiration for Ferndean Manor in Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre".
This is what it looked like in 1650
