Big feelings

It's been a busy week and I haven't posted. Max (pictured here) has been having some very big emotions, and some meltdowns. It typically happens at the playground/park where out of the blue he''ll start crying "Wanna go home, wanna go home." Today it went from crying to full on screaming, kicking, hyperventilating, taking off his shoes and throwing them, and not even letting me hold him or comfort him. Luckily, another mom I know from the playground was able to entertain Sam while I helped Max finally calm down. It's tough being a two-year-old!
