That would be Daniel, not this plant. We had fun celebrating Daniel (again!  he's feeling pretty celebrated overall, since graduation was so recent) as he reached the milestone birthday. Had burgers for dinner and a chocolate cake with some experimental salted caramel that turned out marvelously and some bittersweet chocolate glaze that I don't think needs to be made again. Lots of candles and presents. Felix was very interested.

The plant is Tradescantia, I think. I have killed it several times, and Felix has sat on it, and it keeps coming back. So all in all a good houseplant for us. Happy weekend!
