Cotton wool

It's been another busy day in Studio North with the second day of the monoprinting course. It's been quite enjoyable to just focus on making art, forgetting the trials and tribulations of the world, which only seem to escalate every day.  We were blessed with another cool, cloudy and at times rainy day, which makes working in the studio much more comfortable.

After returning to the cottage I had a little kipette and then did some knitting whilst watching the first part of Big Oil v the World on BBC iPlayer. It's depressing to see just how much obfuscation of the truth goes on in the interests of big business, particularly in the States.

The blip is of the view from my window here in the cottage - a view which is constantly changing. This evening a huge roll of cloud, like a giant wad of cotton wool, settled into the dip a couple of fields away. I watched as it descended further and completely engulfed the houses that you can just make out in the photograph. I'm sure there is a scientific explanation for it.
