Back home
The journey still continues: waking up after a bad night's sleep in Viljandi.
we had maybe the smallest room type of the hotel, maybe a 120 cm double bed was too narrow for us, almost-whales. And the window faced to the main square, where the clock in the town hall bet all evens and halfs. The beats would not have been heard indoors, if the window had been closed. But there was a lot of dust in the room and hubby's nose was blocked af first. Situation was helped when he opened the window, so I was wake up by the clock, snoring hubby and mainly by being afraid of dropping down from narrow bed.. this choice of hotel didn't quite work out.
After breakfast we took rental scooters and drove to the main historical places of the town... It's clearly natural for a man to drive all kinds of vehicles...
Soon on our way home: driving across the Estonia, we bought some dark bread for granmothers and our children as souvenir. So yummy!!! And on the way we saw fields, and fields and some more fields, pelicans and flamingos (stork = Northern pelican, Flamingo = crane) and solar panels...+30c
A kilo of strawberries from one of the farm/berry sellers in Coop -market yard for a snack. And later, when approaching Tallinn, we relieved hunger with the help of hamburgers at some traffic station. Killed time in Viru shopping centre. At first walking around, then by getting lost and finally having troubles in paying the park fee. Finally on time at the port of ferry. Over the sea and towards home.
Back home +27c at the time of sunset. Thunderstorm forecasted.
Nice trip! A ferry pic in the blip is taken from Our Tallink Silja Star -Ferry leaving Tallinn harbour.
