Daisy.
Friend's dog, Daisy. She's a pretty girl but not easy to capture her looks in a photo - I've tried before and they always come out badly. She's getting a little bit old now, always been a nervous highly strung Border Collie. I think a well-lit studio style portrait would suit her better than trying to take an outdoor shot. She has beautiful eyes but tends not to look straight at you and show them off especially with those lovely lashes. Maybe autistic? Fussing around her with lights and trying to get her to relax and keep a pose would upset her I think so maybe best to keep trying.... but gently.
Had to smile gently to myself at the antics observed at a matinée showing of the the film ELVIS. Yes....I chose to join the oldies so mustn't laugh too heartily! Usherettes don't exist anymore and so they were left to find their own seats. Impressed that some were using their mobile phone torches to navigate but I was amazed that so many seemed to opt for a Premier seat until the actual ticket holders turned up and pointed out their error....really an error? I don't think so! Looking forward to joining the fun of paying for a Standard seat and taking a Premier. It appeared to be a pensioners jape. One problem appeared to be that they had e-tickets on their phone with their seat number but using the torch meant they couldn't do both....access the seat number and find their way in the dark - that appeared to be their excuse anyway. Another observation from probably a seasoned oldie matinée-goer who, before folding up her cardigan to sit on, carefully felt the seat to check it was dry! OMG - I must remember that one!
Film was recommended all round so thought I'd better go - as you may guess I am not a regular cinema-goer. Tiny bit too long but Oscar noms. expected for two lead players - both excellent.
