Potato flowers

My second set of potato plants are flowering, as blipped.

It's been another super-busy day that has included work (with a good outcome on a journal submission), an online meeting with Mummy hazelh's solicitor, a walk to the éclair shop (and a couple of charity shops en route), cooking (carrot and lemon soup, spiced sweet potato soup, sweet potato and pea curry), and - most unexpectedly - babysitting.

My two young charges were the 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son of our single parent electrician, who couldn't find a babysitter this afternoon. I was very happy to look after them while their father discussed all things electrical with Mr hazelh. The children were really no trouble at all, and I would be happy to babysit them again if necessary whenever their father is working in our flat.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow very much. We're going to Biggar show with Bella, David, and Bella's sister Lucy. We have made nadinepierce's stand our meeting point.

Exercise today: small amount of walking (8617 steps).
