Bracken

The valleys and lower parts of Dartmoor are covered in dark-green bracken. Here and there a few fronds have begun to turn in colour. They stand out against the dark green bracken which absorbs more light. What was interesting today was how few people there were on the moor. It may be a bit different next week as the school holidays in England get under way!
