Wee dolly

We met baby Isla this morning for the first time. She’s 4 months old and is the granddaughter of our friends. Due to various things it’s taken this long to meet up. She is the sweetest wee girl and was happy to have a wee cuddle with both of us.
I then met up with an ex colleague for lunch. Lovely to catch up. She is enjoying her new job visiting schools in a different catchment .
After lunch, sat in the garden and read my book I met up with the drama group to firm up plans for our September/October production. Looking forward to performing again after so long away due to Covid. We drank wine and chatted until midnight in my friend’s summerhouse.
It’s been a really lovely day.
