A little blue sky

We left home in light rain this morning. The sky was grey and it was very cold. On our return this afternoon a little blue sky was evident amongst the dark patterns of the clouds.
Last night our holiday plans were thrown into some disarray just 26 days out. Our 8 day bus and train trip from Zurich across Switzerland and Austria to Budapest has been cancelled. We sat up very late last night putting together a new plan. The travel agent has just made contact with a new itinerary involving all train travel which is very much to our liking. This links into our river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. We still face the possibility that low river levels may affect some part of the cruise.
The whole trip was planned and paid for in 2019. Covid delayed us for 2 years. I hope that no other obstacles emerge.
