Waiting for a peanut

Today was a sunny hot day. It was not as humid as yesterday but that will return for the weekend. I took my evening walk and arrived a foot bridge and as I looked across on the rail I saw Mrs cardinal waiting waiting for a peanut. I guess right now the cardinals are trying to feed ac young one and a peanut can be a treat.
