Excitement

Today was another dull, warm and dry day, and I'm looking forward not to have to walk Django twice each day. Work-wise, there was more excitement. In the morning I found out that I've been awarded €35k by a French funding organisation, allowing me to employ a PhD student for a year to work on our software in collaboration with Électricité de France. In the evening I was emailed to say that our Wikipedia entry is now live!

Between these two events, the day's highlight was a visit from L at lunchtime to collect her post and some books. Django was so excited to see her!
