Birthday

Lot’s of flowers and birthday cards on mother’s 94:th birthday. She was so glad and satisfied with her day. Today is also my baptism day. I was baptized six days after my birth, on my mother's 30th birthday. She remained in the hospital and it was a fairly common tradition to baptize babies while the mothers were being cared for in the hospital. Nowadays in Sweden, women do not stay in the hospital more than a few hours after giving birth. So now it is probably unusual for such baptisms.
