Wildflowers along the canal.

Part of the Forth and Clyde canal had to be repaired last year. Once all the work was complete, wildflower seeds were planted.
The result is a beautiful border of colourful flowers, buzzing with bees!

Gardening most of the afternoon.

A pleasant day, mostly overcast but warm.

Sadly Joyce fell and broke her hip yesterday.

Tonight at 4.30pm she phoned me from the hospital to let me know her hip replacement had been done at 9pm last night. What a woman! Not bad for a 93 year old.
