The Blue Tower

Also known as St. George’s Tower in Leicester is now home to the tallest piece of street art in Europe (82 metres), and the third tallest in the world. It’s been painted by a team of talented Leicester street artists and includes foxes (Leicester’s football team), spacemen (the National Space Centre is located in Leicester) and tigers (Leicester Tigers rugby).

We went into town today to buy a birthday present for Liz, Mr I’s youngest sister - she was 70 a couple of weeks ago and we’re going to see her on Saturday. Got her a lovely necklace from a local shop that makes most of what it sells.
Lovely and cool today and it rained :-)
