Rain?!!

It's been a long time since a thoroughly soggy evening stroll and equally as long since I've not needed to water my garden. It's very dark and very, very damp out there! The garden, and reservoirs, are saying a big thank you.

This photo sums up today for my Mum; a signpost towards freedom and endless possibilities many of which I'm sure cannot yet be seen, as here in the fog! Mum has retired after working in schools since 1993, initially as a teaching assistant before becoming a teacher. Over the years she has definitely given her life to the job and that will undoubtedly have shaped so many children's lives along the way.

It's now time for her to embrace freedom, enjoy just having time and seizing each and every day!
