AT - Patterns

Getting ready today to travel down to Bristol tomorrow to fly to France on Saturday with my aunt in her 80’s to see my Mum’s ‘pen’ friend (she was so much more than that) in her 90’s. Feels like something of a pilgrimage, the one person my mum asked me to stay in touch with. There have been plenty of obstacles - including two cancelled easy jet flights, wasted hotel and train tickets - but then - when I step back - it’s all first world trivia - I will be so pleased if we get there - in another turn of the spiral
