In the Grassmarket in Edinburgh today

Boy, it's changed - no cars parked down the middle - just a big pedestrian precinct which, without pedestrians looked kind of bare.

It looks good when there's a market on though.

There were also a lot of poor souls about, clutching the standard blue grocer's poly-bags and not looking very well. I saw a few crouched in telephone boxes openly taking drugs while the tourists walked-by taking pictures of the castle.

I stumbled on this chalk-drawing on the way back - it reminded me of something Tracey Emin might do.
