Drottningholms slott

Drottningholm Palace - the private residence of the Royal Family of Sweden.

Today we had a rather late start, after a quite long evening yesterday. VV had a day off, so she, Julia, and I went to Drottningholm Palace a few kilometres outside of Stockholm. We rode by bike, of course, as the weather promised to be great (although temperatures were around only 7°C).

So this is Drottningholm Palace seen from the extensive palace gardens. I blipped another royal residence a few weeks ago - but it's for you to decide if you prefer the Swedish version or the shot of Munich's Nymphenburg Palace.

So it's not yet decided what to do in the evening. We would have our names on the guest list of a rather exclusive party, but let's see...
