Thanks for the comments on my 200th blip yesterday. I am happy to have found this community.
It was another warm day but there was a nice breeze so it was bearable for working. We spent a few hours reclaiming a small section of this slope. The client wants to give the place some more curb appeal. There are some nice native plants here, but it has been neglected for so long that they are almost hidden in the weeds. We will work our way across, cutting down tree seedlings and pulling the weeds, evaluating as we go about what should stay and what needs to go.
The gals are starting to take ownership of some of the projects they have been working on. T is starting to take some before and after photos of some of the places. M would like to bring her mother to work with her one day, so she can show her what she has been doing.
We have a heat warning in effect for the next 3 days. With the humidity temperatures will feel like the mid-30's C. We will work shorter days tomorrow and Friday, and take more frequent breaks to get out of the sun.
