Memories

Whitecrook Park. I visited the park today and the mound with the two trees growing on it reminded me where the bandstand used to be. My two sisters and I played on it all the time in the 50s. The bandstand started life in Dalmuir Park. It was moved to Whitecrook Park in 1935. In 1983 it was moved to the Clyde Shopping Centre.
