Enticement not working

Mabel would sit in a puddle mid winter, but I couldn’t get her into my roof-box in disguise. It was waiting to be taken to the dump and I though she might at least paddle if I filled it with water. But nope. Cholmeley wouldn’t move so I put a fan on him. We definitely got to 40+’ today.

The cat stayed out and has returned with a typical unphased swagger.

It was the dogs I was worried about. I didn’t think about the hens and I’m so sorry.
Kiera, our youngest, just lay down, put her head down, and died. It made me so sad. I feel terrible. They had shade, water … but it wasn’t enough.

We had a sweet Grow Group Social tonight, as we were saying good bye to a family moving to Loughborough to take up ministry there. I had to leave Kiera be until nightfall, because I didn’t want to upset our little girl visitor. :-((
