Juvenile Green Woodpecker

Unlike the Great Spotted Woodpecker which used to visit our old, rotting (and now removed) apple tree, this juvenile Green Woopecker, and an adult that I have seen in the garden on previous occasions, seems to spend most of its time on the ground. I understand its main diet is ants.  I could point it to better sources of ants in our garden than the lawn.
