Wild Flowers

We had some friends visit us late morning for a few hours that we met on a cruise around Alaska in 2006, and met up occasionally over the years. It was good to see them as it's been about five years since our last meeting and it was good to catch up. As they live in Worcester we're now only 40 minutes away so easier to keep in touch.

Much cooler today, we took the daughters dogs out for a walk to Goodrich Castle; I on the lookout for a 'flower/plant/tree' for this weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme. I spotted some wild flowers opposite the castle in the hedge of a farmfield and like them for the lovely colours.
