Avoiding the prickles

Thank goodness for lower temperatures today. Windows were flung open to let out the heat which had built up yesterday. Even managed to fit in a run.

Spotted this butterfly enjoying its thistle feast. 

Matthew popped in on his way to evening cricket so it was good to catch up with him. Thomas’s girlfriend was unaware of being bitten by a tick but unfortunately has contracted Lyme disease. Fortunately she got medical advice as soon as the ring around the bite developed and is now on powerful antibiotics to treat it. Hopefully the treatment has come early enough to ensure a full recovery.
