smashing

Much cooler today, thank goodness.

I have a day off... hoorah. 
Pete's old work pal, Gavin, came over for lunch.   
We had a smashing few hours.  A gust of wind blew a glass off the table and it shattered into a million shards over the garden. 
 
One of the few plus points about astroturf is that it can be vacuumed.  Gavin was keen to get stuck in.  See extra.
