The Enchanted Timeshare

We didn't leave the grounds of the resort today, on this our final day, even though the weather was perfect for sightseeing.

My son wanted to make the most of the sporting facilities, and my daughter couldn't stop reading. Lawn bowls, mini golf, tennis, squash, swimming, billiards, swimming,and finally air hockey.

Im accompanied us for most of these adventures (and drove the swimming) but most of the time she was too engrossed in constant re-reads of The Enchanted Wood to join in more than 5 minutes.

Here she is the moment after losing her game of air hockey, seconds before she took the opportunity of shaking her brother's hand to smash it down on the table and return to her book.

One day, she tells me, she will find that magic faraway tree.
